Holding to your faith walk
“His mother said to the servants, ’Whatever He says to you, do it’!” John 2:5 (NKJV)
What God shows you to do always works out! This is true but how many Christians experience this? It seems like only a few. The reason is few follow through on what He shows them to do. Things happen that discourage or unsettle many to the point that they "cast away their confidence" and stop continuing. Heb. 10:35-36.
Blessed to be a blessing
“Let him that stole steal no more; but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth”. Eph 4:28 (KJV)
If you have been hearing the words of promise God has given in Christ then you will have heard God’s desire to bless you. He also has a greater desire beyond this desire. He desires that we be a blessing. He looks for us to receive the blessing that we may be a blessing.
Your speech matters
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses”. 1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV).
What are you saying with your mouth? Whatever it is, it’s shaping outcomes in your life! This is partly because it moulds your expectations. those who recognise the power of a good confession look for an opportunity to praise God no matter what is going on.
A people who are strong
"The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:23 - NKJV".
We are seing in our days men and women becoming strong in the Lord and doing exploits. It is their relationship with God that makes the difference. Instead of going through the motions of ritual they are rejoicing in relationship with God through Jesus Christ. As a result, though the nations are getting shaken, the people who know their God are standing firm. Even though the going has got tough the tough - those who are strong - have got going! Mat 7:24-27.
Kindle the passion of love
"Draw me! We will run after you! The king brings me into his apartments! We will be glad and rejoice in you! We will recall (when we were favoured with) your love, more fragrant than wine. The upright (are not offended at your choice, but sincerely) love you." Song of Solomon 1:4 (AMP).
In that verse above you are hearing the calling of the voices of the daughters of Jerusalem. Does how you feel about God match up to that expression of desire?
